PROBLEM: Texans Can Academies recognized the urgent need for a modernized Suicide Risk Assessment to support their campus counselors in addressing critical student safety concerns.
SOLUTION: Partnering closely with district leaders, I developed a comprehensive, 36-page Intent to Harm Guidelines handbook, complete with branded visuals, printable resources, and seamless online forms.
OUTCOME: This user-friendly tool equips counselors with clear, actionable protocols, ensuring consistency and care when responding to students in crisis.

PROBLEM: DeSoto ISD’s Parent Engagement Advisory Committee envisioned a robust resource to help K-12 principals increase parent engagement and foster inclusive communities.
SOLUTION: I collaborated with district leaders to bring this vision to life, creating a dynamic Google Site that houses the comprehensive Parent Engagement Toolkit. This toolkit features actionable resources, including PTA integration strategies, monthly engagement calendars, a social media guide, professional development modules, and customizable templates.
OUTCOME: With live principal feedback sessions and a focus on practical, ready-to-use tools, the district now empowers campus leaders to create welcoming, inclusive learning environments for families.

Centralizing Policy Communication
PROBLEM: Leaders of an urban school district, with 6,000 students and 800 employees, needed a centralized hub to communicate education policy updates and internal processes for executive team members.
SOLUTION: Freedom Feels provided strategic planning and implementation support. Partnering with the Executive Director of Administrative Services, I developed an engaging Policy Updates SharePoint Site that included custom graphics, clear content, and a feedback survey to inform future improvements.
